International Course TOEIC Scores (Class Averages)

Reitaku International Course TOEIC Class Average Score

All Reitaku International Course students take the TOEIC test three times as a class. The exact time that they take the TOEIC varies by class and year, but each class will take the TOEIC at least once a year. The course goal is that students achieve a class average of 600 by the end of their sixth year.

The scores in blue on the graph above are the average scores for each grade of the International Course. The scores in gray on the right are the Japan national averages (high school tenth grade, eleventh grade, twelfth grade, and university senior year).

As you can see, the International Course students start out their first year with scores almost equal to the Japan national average for first year high school students. Then, through the course, their level rises dramitically to 476 at the end of their 2nd year of high school, which is well above the national average for 2nd and even the 3rd high school students. By the end of their third year in the International Course, our students manage to even exceed the Japan national average for 4th year university students.

In the International Course, we do not offer special TOEIC classes. We do not give the students any special training. These results are the result of our students' hard work and daily use of English.
